Welcome to our class blog!

We are a class of year 7 and 8 students who attend a semi-rural school on the outskirts of Tauranga in NZ. We are excited to share our experiences and learning at Tauriko School. Check back regularly to see what we have been up to. We have a load of fun in our class and would love to share it with you!

Caged Soccer

Caged Soccer

I was one of our 3 person caged soccer team. I thought I would get smashed by the other schools. Kim the ref ran over the rules and how to play. My first match was against the dreadful Stanley Ave. I thought he would win
quite easily but I surprisingly scored the first goal. Then I scored another goal but then he came back with one and the whistle went off. I won so I was very happy. My teammates screamed their support. I had to wait 10 minutes until my next game but all I wanted to do was get back in there. The next
game I was up against Combined. They were also really good but I won 4-2. I didn‛t get to the semi-finals because the whole team had to go through but, I‛d done better than I imagined.
