Welcome to our class blog!

We are a class of year 7 and 8 students who attend a semi-rural school on the outskirts of Tauranga in NZ. We are excited to share our experiences and learning at Tauriko School. Check back regularly to see what we have been up to. We have a load of fun in our class and would love to share it with you!

Agricultural Day Exhibits - Medals

Look at our amazing medals! We were inpsired by the Olympic Games to design our own medals. We used clay to make a base and had to decide on a method of attaching the ribbon so it could hang around the winner's neck. We came up with a lot of different ideas for why the medal would be awarded. We then made the emblem out of du-kit which we cooked and then glued on. Finally we attached our ribbons. When the judging was over we discovered that Sam had come 2nd out of all of the Year 3 and 4 children. Well done Sam!
